Sing Psalms to The Lord

“Sing Psalms to the Lord!” – the Church has encouraged us to do this from the time of the Old Testament. In more recent years, after Vatican II, our Holy Fathers have again called us to this form of prayer. The Psalms form an integral part of the Liturgy of the Word at Mass, and we are encouraged to SING these Psalms. Many communities have looked at this particular instruction – “Sing the Psalms” – and given up in despair. They feel that this is tantamount to learning one new hymn each week and then expecting the community to participate in the singing. This sounds like an impossible task!

We hope that this series of CDs will make the singing of the Sunday Psalm an easy task for everyone.
